We design surveys to provide you with a contemporary, professional look that incorporates your colors and corporate logo to retain your branding.  Surveys can be designed as a single, scroll-down page of items or as multi-page surveys that the user completes and clicks through.  Which type we use is up to you - different clients have different preferences for how they would like to present their surveys.  Some of the advantages and disadvantages of each type of presentation are discussed here.

Single Page Surveys present all of the survey items on a single page that the user scrolls down as he or she completes the items.  This has the advantage of letting the user see how long the survey is and to get a feel for what it covers.  In single page surveys, skips can be programmed to move users through the survey depending on their responses to specific items.  If a respondent does not have experience or knowledge in a specific area, those items can be skipped moving them to the next relevant set of items for them to complete.  Single page surveys have the disadvantage that you do not collect data from surveys that are only completed partially and the user cannot leave and re-enter the survey at a later date (though some do and just begin where they left off).

Multi-Page Surveys present subsets of items on a series of single screen pages.  Each page typically appears "above the fold" on an 800 X 600 display.  Progress on the survey is displayed to the user so that they know how far they have progressed on the survey and how much of the survey remains.  As the user clicks "Next" to progress through the survey, his or her responses are saved to our server.  This means that we can collect partially completed surveys (up to the last page for which "Next" was clicked on) and we can program surveys so that users can leave and return to the partially completed survey at any time.  Branching can be used on this type of survey presentation so that respondents are not presented with pages that contain questions that are not relevant to their personal experiences or expertise.  Branching can be based on either responses to particular survey items or it can be accomplished using pre-existing data on the invitees that is stored in a linked database.

Real-Time Reporting is available for either survey presentation type.  With real-time reporting, you can view survey results as soon as they come in.  While incomplete surveys may may not be important to you, the ability to see summaries of your data the moment the survey closes or to get up-to-the-minute reports for ongoing survey programs can be of immense benefit to your internal consumers.
